Kiwi House in Derby “inadequate”

Posted By Kirsty Dakin - 28th July 2021

We are disappointed to learn that a care home in Derby, Kiwi House, has been rated as “inadequate” following an inspection by the CQC, which was prompted by a death of one of the residents. It was reported that residents had not always been protected from avoidable harm, including falls, and people had not been kept safe from abuse. However, the home was rated as “good” with regard to the atmosphere created by staff and in supporting people’s relationships and interests. If you have concerns about the care that you or a family member received at a care home, please contact one of our specialist team for a no obligation consultation.
