Fazila Bhana

"I am particularly interested in Medical Negligence and helping to achieve accountability and answers for clients. I enjoy learning new processes involved in the stages of a claim and the analysis of the different elements of Law applicable to medical negligence."

Fazila joined Moosa-Duke Solicitors in December 2023.

 

Fazila completed her undergraduate studies at University of Leicester whilst continuing to work in her former role as secondary school English and Maths Teacher.

She completed internships at the University Legal Advice Clinic and was a member of several Pro Bono Societies whilst completing her LLB, for which she was awarded both Presenter and Team Leader of the Year, two years consecutively.

 

After graduating, Fazila completed her LPC/LLM at Nottingham Law School during which she volunteered for Citizens Advice as Assessor/Advisor and as a Charity Legal Case Worker. Fazila also ran her own Pro Bono Legal Education organisation.

Before joining Moosa-Duke Solicitors, Fazila worked as a County-Court Advocate representing Claimants in Civil Litigation matters.

 

Fazila was drawn to Medical Negligence due to her compassionate nature and desire to assist Clients in achieving answers and favourable outcomes. She is keen to learn and develop amongst specialist lawyers at Moosa-Duke Solicitors.

 

In her spare time, Fazila enjoys reading, playing tennis and writing. Fazila was formerly Editor of a local magazine and continues to contribute articles related to community matters.
