BMI The Park Hospital is due to open a new operating theatre, which will house the Da Vinci Robot, “an advanced surgical system for precision cancer surgery”. The majority of the patients at the hospital are self-funded, but it also supports Sherwood Forest and Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trusts and has played a vital role during the pandemic. In recent years, the hospital has become a centre for cancer surgery, complex joint replacements, cardiac surgery and for patients who need specialist intensive care nursing. BMI The Park is the first private hospital outside of London to acquire the advanced Da Vinci Robot and we hope that it is able to change the lives of many cancer patients in the region.
