Ms Mehmooda Duke of Moosa-Duke Solicitors, in De Montfort Street, who represented Tina, said: “This was a tragic case where a very sick young lady who was unable to speak for herself received a dreadful standard of care”.
A spokesperson from Leicester’s Hospitals said: “It is clear that some areas of the care we provided were not up to the standards we expect. We are truly sorry for this.”
