On 24 September, Mehmooda Duke and Catherine Leong attended a dinner with Annie Glover, Emma Willis and Michelle Hughes, Trustees and volunteers of the Cauda Equina Syndrome UK Charity.  All 3 are sufferers of Cauda Equina Syndrome.  The dinner was attended by 3 other sufferers of the condition.  Cauda Equina Syndrome is a spinal condition which occurs when the nerves at the base of the Spinal chord become compressed. It is a debilitiating condition which can affect anyone, and being aware of the “Red Flag Symptoms” of CES can help prevent late or missed diagnosis of the condition.
