An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Paralegal to join our team. The role is within a fast paced environment, acting for victims of Medical Negligence. The role will mainly involve assisting Fee Earners on Multi-Track cases.

Duties

Assisting fee earners with day to day case management, including: drafting and sending letters to clients and third parties; drafting legal documents; attending inquests; arranging and attending client interviews and conferences with counsel; preparing bundles for counsel and court; carrying out legal research.
Dealing with phone calls to and from clients and third parties.
Dealing with administrative procedures as required.
Skills/Competencies required

Excellent communication skills and a good telephone manner;
The ability to prioritise and organise your work;
The ability to work to deadlines;
Working as a member of a team;
Computer literate (working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word);
Effective numeracy & literacy skills;
2:2 classification law degree (or equivalent) and higher

Experience

Experience of working in a customer focused service and/or legal environment is essential.
